Today we went to the vet. I got my allergy shot and Huck went along for the ride. We are very fond of Dr. Kelly G. He comes to Crescent one day a week in a medical rv., and brings his two little Maltese dogs with him. We like them too. Last night we watched the opera “Carmen” and Huck has the distinction of being able to squeak the squeaky chicken in time to Toreador without missing a beat. I think this is when VOG went to the computer room.
“Huck does momma dog know you’ve got her dishtowel? Where are you going?”
“O.k. Nemo, when I click my heels and wave the dishtowel, you paw the ground and charge!”
“Click your heels? Paw the ground? Are you crazy? I can’t charge, I just got a shot, and stop that humming!”
“Tore-a-doro, don’t spit on the floor-a……..”
